Top 3 skincare saviours

Happy Halloween, it’s a lovely bright crisp day here in London and I’m finally feeling settled into our new apartment. There’s something extremely stressful about moving and yet therapeutic at the same time; all of that clearing out of the old and designing the new. Speaking of new, I’ve been revamping my skincare routine since becoming an Ambassador for DIBI Milano (the number 1 professional skincare brand in Italy) and I can honestly say my visage has never looked better. Every morning I wake up it’s glowing, feels incredibly smooth (baby soft to the point Paul has been commenting, and we all know when men notice something like that it’s a miracle) and looks far less dehydrated and fatigued. As a result I’ve decided to share my current favourites from the line, ones which I feel would suit the majority of you guys.

Calm Perfection Delicate Micellar Water 3 in 1

I’m a huge fan of convenience when it comes to cleansing, so micellar waters have always been a firm favourite of mine. However, after educating myself in Milan on our DIBI trip, I discovered that lots of well know brands contain harsh ingredients that strip the skin. This particular product does the exact opposite, calming and delicately removing your makeup, whilst cleansing and toning in one simple step. Containing a calm complex, marigold extract and allantoin this product soothes, actively restores and rebuilds the skins protective barrier. Suitable for sensitive eyes and skin, there’s no rinsing required and it’s incredibly effective at removing stubborn make up, simply apply to a cotton pad and swipe. Dreamy.

Oxy-Age Renewing Serum Cream

One of the latest releases from the brand, the Pro Cellular range caught my eye instantly – just look at that modern clinical packaging, pretty enough for any dressing table. A serum and cream in one, this is my holy grail product at the moment. The product pump is novel and the texture is divine, combining the nourishing power of a cream with the sensory feel of a serum. Active ingredients include pre-Dibiotic, hyaluronic acid, almond oil, matrikines and vitamin C which work together at restoring the epidermis and promoting resistance to external aggressors. My skin feels incredibly soothed and hydrated and the collagen stimulation means it’s definitely appearing more plump. Clinical tests have shown that regular use of this wonder worker will stimulate long term cell longevity and remove harmful toxins built up over time.

Eye Area Extreme Hydration Kit

Finally, an eye cream duo that targets every concern you may have experienced, dark circles, puffiness and wrinkles. This intensely hydrating treatment kit gives you the best of both worlds; a nourishing cream for daytime luminosity and a mask for extreme overnight moisture. More clinical instrumental tests confirm that the nutrient action reinforces the delicate eye area over time and my fine lines have definitely become less visible. Ingredients including hydra complex, caffeine extract and glycosaminoglycans (try saying that out loud) work together at brightening the eye area and reducing any fluid build up. DIBO Milano are professional products and can be found in the below selected salons in Ireland.
