Top 3 haircare saviours

Happy Tuesday folks, the heating is on full blast, I have my coat on in the office and I’ve struggled to type this blog piece because my fingers are so numb. Lately I’ve been getting a huge amount of comments and queries regarding my hair. So many of you have noticed a shine throughout and difference its overall health and condition which I wholeheartedly agree with. After my trip to Milan with DIBI Milano I had a consultation with Aileen Maher a scalp specialist and ALFAPARF Milano (their sister company) educator who talked me through some suggestions for my hair type and thinning issues. Her overall philosophy was that we can’t have healthy hair without a healthy scalp and I’ve been trailling the following recommendations ever since.

Aileen suggested I use products from the Semi Di Lino range as they’re suitable for people like myself who wear extensions and need something free from sulphates. The Energising Shampoo is a scalp energizing, anti-hair loss shampoo formulated with pomegranate extract to offer an intense scalp cleaning action. This product helps rebalance the scalp while reducing flaking and itching, reinforces and protects follicles against the free radicals that cause aging and hair loss. The shampoo smells incredible and contains Buhu plant extract that regulates sebum secretion of the scalp meaning my hair has been less greasy, less sensitive and more full and bouncy looking. I massage my own scalp first and then apply, wash and rinse the product. Afterwards I’ve been using the Magnifying Conditioner which is specifically for fine, flat hair. Then product features a lightweight texture that works on the structure and root of hair, adding body and density without overloading or weighing the hair down. Both my natural hair and extensions are left feeling lightweight but super sleek and shiny.

The holy grail from this line, the Energising Lotion is a best seller and it’s easy to see why. This intensive scalp energising concentrate contains a complex which acts directly on dermal papilla to stimulate hair growth. The product activates, revitalises and revives the hair follicles and strengthens the hair fiber. Containing the magic ingredient Renovagenyl my hair is starting to appear fuller, bouncier and healthier looking. This product won’t ‘cure’ hair loss but it will certainly improve thinning. The treatment last 12 weeks, so I’m excited to see the results in the New Year when my course is completed. To use, I apply a full vial after washing my hair and massage to promote absorption without rinsing. The suggested use is 3 times a week for 8-12 weeks. If you’d like to win a whole host of amazing haircare products from this range as part of my 12 Days Of Christmas giveaway be sure to head over to my Instagram to find out how.
