Camomile Cleansing

Camomile Cleansing

I’m a huge fan of cleansing products; I wear a lot of make up on a regular basis and anything that makes the mundane task of removal more pleasant is my best friend. Although I require a cleansing product that’s tough on tint, I like something sensitive and soft for my skin. Yesterday The Body Shop introduced their new Camomile Make Up Removal Collection of ultra effective yet beautifully gentle products, enriched with the pure calming power of Community Fair Trade camomile. I was lucky enough to get to try out two products from the line and they were a total dream to use; the camomile is calming, the petal scent is perfect and the consistency is smooth and gentle.

Camomile Cleansing

Long renowned for its calming properties, camomile is an amazing skincare ingredient. Better still, The Body Shop source their Community Fair Trade camomile oil from a family run co operative in Norfolk, England where the flowers are grown without pesticides and are harvested at the perfect time to ensure absolute quality.

Camomile Cleansing

The Waterproof Eye Make Up Remover €13.50 has a dual phase formula which delivers effective results in one application. It’s enriched with Community Fair Trade essential camomile oil to be delicate on skin around eyes. A swipe of this powerful petal potion over my heavy smokey eye, liner and lash glue and all traces of make up was removed leaving no oily residue or stinging sensation.

Camomile Cleansing

The Camomile Sumptuous Cleansing Butter €14.95 is a luxurious velvety butter that melts into a smooth cushioning oil to effortlessly remove every layer of make up in an instant. This was a new cleansing consistency for me and I have to say I’m somewhat converted. The butter like texture smells divine, feels both refreshing and calming on the skin and effectively removed all traces of my face make up.

Camomile Cleansing

The rest of the range consists of a Gentle Eye Make Up Remover €12.50 which is soothing and non oily; it gently removes make up from lashes and lids in seconds. The Camomile Silky Cleansing Oil €17.20 is a divinely supple oil and the ultimate time saver; it delivers an ultra fresh, clean finish in a flash, with no stickiness or residue. Featuring a blend of skin softening oils and the calming power of Community Fair Trade essential camomile oil, it leaves skin feeling softer. Last but not least the 100% Organic Cotton Muslin Cloth €3.90 makes for an even more thorough cleanse; for an invigorating spa like experience, leave the warm cloth on your skin for a facial steam. This camomille cleansing range is available in stores now and is well worth checking out.
